Ever since the inverted cross became a fashion trend, I’ve been noticing that most people either don’t know where it came from or mistakenly believe that it originated as a satanic symbol. So I quickly made this.

For those who are unaware, tradition holds that Saint Peter was crucified upside down by his own request because he did not feel worthy to die in the same way as Jesus. (Similarly, his brother Andrew was crucified on an X-shaped cross.)

It feels like i have not written a post in a very long time. I had to write about my home. Sometime i think about it all. The places, the memories, the people…and it almost brings a tear to my eye every single time. I evokes a number of emotions when i reflect on it all. To think that I am blessed beyond all comprehension with brothers, sisters, elders, and everything in between. My home that The Lord has placed me in has always been good to me. As i sit here i think about camps. How tedious the task of preparing for it is. How it brings along stress and frustration and doubt. How it also brings out growth and dedication and passion. I love that this area is a resilient one. In my home i see faith and service right before my very eyes. I know that through it all we will continue to fight on…together. I have complete and absolute faith that we will make it happen. What ever the task is at hand we will make it happen and continue to keep the heart beating.

Philippians 4:13

ps. happy early birthday to my brother, my friend, and inspiration.
